Conception

It is a kind of pigmentation disease: regular edge, brown, patchy.

Clinical feature

1. Born with or appearing in early childhood and grow with the age.
2. Can occur in any part of body.
3. Brown
4. Not elevate the skin or pit in the skin. No symptoms, no self-healing tendencies.
5. Related with season and sunshine. Right is brown spots on the neck Left is brown spots on the face.

Histopathology

The total amount of melanin in the epidermis increases and the amount of melanocyte increases.

Method of treatment

1.Q-switched 1064nm laser or Q-switched 532nm laser and Q-switched 755nm laser. But the CALMS has very high requirement on the energy intensity, the single pulse should be above 400mj and the pulse width has to be less than 7ns (that is to say, Q-switched laser less than 100mj is nearly ineffective).

2.Ultra pulse CO2 LASER OR 2940nm ER:YAG laser has some effect on the CALMS but be careful when the treatment skin is above FitzpatrickⅢ
